TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF – WHAT DO YOU DO?
I use my own body as a medium for art, quasi self-realisation through self-
dramatisation.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO IT – DID YOU ALWAYS WANT TO DO IT?
When I was young, I discovered the Japanese style of Visual Kei, which is a strong
rebellion against the homogenous, rigid society of Japan, and I was able to identify
with it strongly. I let myself be inspired by it, developed my own style from it and
started to stage myself creatively.
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR HOBBY – WHAT FASCINATES YOU?
I am fascinated by how differently others perceive you and how you perceive yourself
when you walk through the world dressed whimsically. It allows you to see yourself
and consequently the world around you in new ways. It allows you to live out
unrealised facets of yourself, thus gaining a deeper understanding of yourself.
WOULD YOU DRESS LIKE YOU DO IN THE PICTURES IN EVERYDAY LIFE?
Of course – if it wasn’t so much work I would wear the most creative and crazy
clothes according to my mood.
YOU HAVE POINTED CANINES – HOW DOES THAT FEEL? DOESN'T IT INTERFERE WITH EATING?
I don’t notice them at all, they don’t bother me a bit. As if they had to be like that.
WHAT DO YOU DO (PROFESSION)?
At the moment I am preparing to study make-up in Los Angeles for six months.
CAN YOU DO YOUR HOBBY IN YOUR PROFESSION?
I want to make my hobby my profession
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO/BE IN 10 YEARS – WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?
Good question… I want to be able to be creative in the broadest sense and make a living from it. I want to pass on stories that inspire and make you think, that can open up new perspectives.
